Kolang is a password recovery utility for basic HTTP authentication passwords, using dictionary attack. The word lists used by Kolang are in plain text that you can make them by yourself, or download them from the net.

If you have a web site or router that uses HTTP authentication, it is a good idea to check it against this tool to be sure that your password is strong enough.

By the way, Kolang is a Persian word and means “Pick”.
